
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Aarti has completed her Masters degree in Pediatric Occupational Therapy from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York (USA) after receiving her Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy from India. She has over 12 years’ experience of working with children with various neurological and mental health conditions in outpatient clinics as well as the school systems both in India and USA. She has also been a faculty member at the University at Buffalo where she taught Occupational Therapy courses to undergraduate students.
Aarti has also completed courses in DIR Floortime Approach, Family Systems Theory, Brain Gym, and Basic Counselling Skills besides numerous other seminars and workshops related to Occupational Therapy practices with children. She has a keen interest in building connections and enhancing relationships between children and their parents and hence she works towards educating parents on the importance of co-regulation and self-regulation.
