THERAPY ASSISTANT/BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONIST
Cynthia works as a Therapy assistant/Behavior Interventionist at Symbiosis Pediatric Therapy. She has experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and implementing Behavior programs and individualized plans aimed to help reduce their behavioral challenges.
Cynthia is part of our Behavior Team and assists our Behavior Analysts and Behavior Consultants to implement the behavior skill acquisition treatment plans. She also supports the children monitor the behavior while implementing the strategies, record and collect data on their progress, and communicate with the families.
Cynthia received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Counselling and Human Development from Simon Fraser University. She has worked as a respite provider at the Delta Community Living Society since 2019. She is patient and compassionate, good communication, and interpersonal skills.
