SPEECH AND LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT
Daniela completed her Graduate degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the Mayor University, Santiago, Chile in 2013. She has also completed the Early Childhood Educator Certificate program from Pacific Rim Early Childhood Institute.
Prior to joining Symbiosis, Daniela had experience working in Chile and Germany providing a range of clinical services and preschool-based services that focus on enabling and maximizing the communication ability, developing speech, and language skills for the overall social, educational, and emotional well-being of the children.
Daniela has experience in providing treatment to children with neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism. She is well versed in implementing measurable and client-tailored goals emphasizing enhancing functional communication both verbal and non-verbal maximizing on treatment gains by intensifying home training programs.
Daniela has worked as part of an interdisciplinary team providing Speech and Language therapy to early learners. She has extensive experience in providing one on one Speech/Language therapy including targeting speech sounds, motor speech goals, early language strategies, and using themes to teach higher-level concepts.
