ASSISTANT DIRECTOR-CLINICAL SERVICES/OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Kristine is the Assistant Director( Clinical Services) as well as the Occupational Therapy (Clinical Lead) for Symbiosis clinics. She has over 12 years’ experience of working with children with various neurological and mental health conditions in outpatient clinics as well as the school systems in Canada.
Kristine has extensive experience supporting families and children throughout their journeys towards functional participation across their environments(home, school and clinic). She has attended various professional courses(Early Start Denver Model-Basic and Advanced, Self-regulation, Handwriting Without Tears,etc.) which provides further depth to her clinical knowledge and experiences that she shares with the families and the Multi-disciplinary team at Symbiosis.
Kristine’s passion and dedication for her profession supports her work as a Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Lead for all our Symbiosis Clinics. She has a keen interest in building connections and enhancing relationships between children and their parents and hence she works towards educating parents on the importance of co-regulation and self-regulation.
