Jennifer graduated with her Master of Science (Occupational Therapy) from the McMaster University in 2015 after completing her Honours Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology)- Minor in Psychology from York University, Keele Campus in 2012. She is registered as an Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
Prior to joining Symbiosis, Jennifer has clinical experience in residential care, acute care, community (insurance), mental health as well as in pediatrics. She is very self-directed with a strong focus on providing client-centered as well as evidence-based care to all the children as well as while providing support to all the families.
Jennifer also had worked in a private community based pediatric setting in Lower Mainland in 2018 where she collaborated with the caregivers to create individualized treatment plans for children. She also provided direct treatment sessions utilizing a relationship-based approach that embraces the individual differences of all clients of different age groups.
