Junette Alipio


Junette has been working as a pediatric occupational therapist since 1996. She has an in-depth knowledge in developmental and neuro-muscular conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down’s Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Developmental Coordination Disorder, and Sensory Processing Disorder among others and has handled children as young as three months old to teenagers.


Junette has specialized in Sensory Integration, Neuro Developmental Techniques, feeding, splinting and handwriting and has worked in different pediatric settings (acute, pre and school-aged kids and home-based occupational therapy) during her career.


Junette is also trained in Handwriting Without Tears (HWT), Integrated Listening Systems(iLS) multisensory program and completed her certificate in the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach to Feeding program, which is an effective way to address problematic feeding behaviors in a variety of settings and populations. Junette believes in incorporating team-based intervention and has attended the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)-Introductory and Advanced Workshop.
