
Behavior Consultant/Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst
Michelle has completed her Bachelor of Science Degree at UBC and is currently enrolled in her Masters of Professional Education in University of Western Ontario. Michelle is a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA). Michelle has experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), other developmental delays and learning difficulties, including mild to severe behavioural challenges.
Since 2010, Michelle has been working with people with developmental disabilities in a wide range of settings. She has worked with Vancouver Coastal Health Centre with their adapted aquatics program and has even created an adapted aquatics program at Killarney Community Centre.
Michelle is dedicated to providing her clients with the best support to help meet their goals and objectives. She works closely with parents and caregivers to help the child generalise skills in language, play, socialization while decreasing behaviours that interfere with their learning. Besides planning and implementing the Behavior Plan of Intervention, she conducts training and guidance for parents and is responsible for supervising the interventionists.
Michelle is well versed with Applied Behavior Analysis and how to implement into sessions as well as child’s daily life. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin. She provides Behavior Consultancy in Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Delta and Surrey BC.
