Sara completed her Bachelor of Social Sciences, Major in Psychology in 2018 from Simon Fraser University. She has experience working as a Behaviour Therapist at Janus Academy in Calgary since 2018. Her skills include programming and implementing specific extra-curricular activities and exercises for children aged 6-12 with autism. She is able to implement plans which improve the language, communication, and play skill of the children. She is able to utilize Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to aid in daily life skills such as social interaction with peers, self-regulation, and fine motor movements. She also has previous experience as an Activity Leader in the Boys and Girls Club where she had to plan and direct activities and provide support to youth aged 6-12 in afterschool programs that cultivated communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, and other soft skills development.
